Forbort's goal salvages tie for Sioux against Seawolves ALASKA ANCHORAGE 3, NORTH DAKOTA 3: Defenseman Derek Forbort's goal with 1:08 left in regulation helped the Sioux pull out a tie with the Seawolves in Grand Forks, N.D. The tie stopped the Seawolves' six-game losing streak against North Dakota (2-1-2, 1-0-2), including a 4-1 Sioux victory on Friday. Rob Gunderson made 30 saves for UAA (2-2-2, 0-1-1), including three in overtime. Clarke Saunders, who shut out the Seawolves last weekend, made 27 saves for UND (2-1-1, 1-0-1).

ST. CLOUD STATE 5, MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 1: Cory Thorson scored twice, propelling the Huskies to a home victory over the Mavericks. St. Cloud State (4-2-0, 2-0-0) got a goal and an assist each from Kalle Kossila and Nic Dowd. The goal for MSU Mankato (2-2-2, 0-2-0) came shorthanded from Evan Mosey.
CORNELL 3, COLORADO COLLEGE 2: Joel Lowry scored two of the Big Red's three power-play goals as they completed a weekend sweep of the Tigers (3-3-0) in Ithaca, N.Y. Cornell is 2-0.
BEMIDJI STATE 3, NEBRASKA-OMAHA 2: David Boehm's second goal of the game, late in the second period, held up for the Beavers in the 1,000th victory in the program's history. The Mavericks outshot the Beavers 31-27.
