All 32 area locations of Noodles & Co. are offering a free, freshly made summer salad ($6 to $8 value) to the first 50 people in line on Thursday (June 7). Three choices will be offered, including back-yard BBQ chicken with fresh corn, spinach and fresh fruit with blue cheese and balsamic fig, and chili-lime ginger with seared chicken. The 50 recipients also get three coupons good for salads through August. Most of the restaurants open at 10:30 or 11 a.m. To find a Noodles nearby, go to Noodles.

The Ordway Theater is offering discounted tickets to "Fela," the musical directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Bill T. Jones. It's a blend of jazz, funk and African rhythm and harmonies. it explores beat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti's controversial life as an artist, political activist and musician.

The Ordway is offering $41 tickets including fees (regularly $76) good for a 7:30 performance on Father's Day, June 17. Call 651-224-4222 and use promo code FELA35.

If you can't attend on Father's Day, Goldstar is offering discounted tickets on June 12, 13 and 14, regularly $72 or $100, for $23, $38, $40 or $55 including fees. You must be a member to order tickets from Goldstar, but there is no fee to join.
