Lynx at a glance: Minnesota's five-game winning streak ended Friday. Seattle, playing without three-time league MVP Lauren Jackson, who has a hip injury, still stymied the Lynx 65-55. The visitors shot only 30.9 percent and took the first and fourth quarters off, scoring eight and 10 points those periods, respectively. ... Taj McWilliams-Franklin, Maya Moore and Rebekkah Brunson were a combined 4-for-20 from the floor and scored only 13 points. ... The Lynx were 1-for-11 on three-point shots. They were better at the free-throw line (12-for-15) but got there a lot less often than Seattle did (21-for-25).

Fever at a glance: Indiana lost two preseason games to the Lynx, 71-66 and 76-70, but the Fever was 5-3 in regular-season games after winning Saturday's home game vs. Connecticut. ... In two earlier games last week -- a loss to Phoenix and a victory over Washington -- Indiana's bench set a team record for points, scoring 52 in each game. The top scoring reserve is rookie center Jessica Davenport, averaging 11 points and 5.8 rebounds after the Sun game. ... Katie Douglas is averaging a team-high 15.4 points while Tamika Catchings averages 13.5 points and 8.9 rebounds.
