Lynx update: A week after having their three-game winning streak ended by the Sky in Chicago, the Lynx get a rematch at home. It pits the two first-place teams in the league. The Sky leads the league in scoring (85.9) and field goal percentage (46.5) and closed out a tight game late against the Lynx, winning 90-83. The Lynx are 5-1 at home, first in the league in points allowed (68.9) and second in defensive field goal percentage (39.9). F Maya Moore has scored 20 or more points in five consecutive games, averaging 23.8 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists in that time. Moore scored a season-high 29 points in Chicago. Fellow All-Star starter G Seimone Augustus had 21 points in that game.
Sky update: Chicago is the hottest team in the Eastern Conference, its four-game winning streak pushed the Sky to first place in the East. The Sky averaged 87.0 points in those four wins and won the past two by a total of 48 points, including a 20-point rout of Connecticut and a 28-point win over Washington. But the Sky is 5-1 at home and just 4-4 on the road. F Elena Delle Donne is first in the league in scoring (24.7). She had 24 points vs. the Lynx last Friday, but has scored just 23 points in the two games since. G Cappie Pondexter also had 24 vs. the Lynx, including back-to-back three-pointers and three free throws late in the game. F Tamara Young (thumb) is out.
