Preview: The Nuggets ended Dallas' perfect 7-0 home start with a 110-96 victory Monday. They now have won six of their past eight games after they started the season 1-5. At 7-6, they're over .500 for the first time this season. … The Nuggets won the first meeting this season between the teams, 117-113 in Denver on Nov. 15. Forward Wilson Chandler's 19 points led seven Denver players who scored in double figures. The Wolves' two Kevins — Love (28) and Martin (27) — combined for 55 points. … The Nuggets have won 22 of the teams' past 26 meetings. The Wolves ended an eight-game home losing streak against them by winning 117-100 on March 25, 2012.

Players to watch: New Timberwolves F Luc Mbah a Moute is expected to undergo a physical examination Wednesday morning and join the team for its morning shootaround. When asked if he'll play against the Nuggets, Wolves basketball boss Flip Saunders said, "We're hoping." … Denver point guard Andre Miller recently moved past Rod Strickland into ninth place on the NBA's career assists list. He is only the eighth player in NBA history to score more than 15,000 points and give out more than 7,500 assists. … Denver point guard Ty Lawson is the only player in the league this year who's averaging at least 20 points (20.7), four rebounds (4.1) and eight assists (8.7) a game. He had 19 points and 11 assists in Monday's victory at Dallas.

Injuries: Wolves F Chase Budinger (knee surgery) and C Ronny Turiaf (elbow) are out. Nuggets F Danilo Gallinari (torn ACL) and C JaVale McGee (tibia fracture) are out.
