Lynx look for sweep
Preview: The Lynx (4-0) and Sun (0-3) complete their home-and-home series, which started Tuesday in Minnesota with the Lynx winning 80-78. The Lynx lost twice — by four points each time — to the Sun in Connecticut last season before winning by 14 at Target Center. The Sun, which was 14-20 last season, scored 31 points off 22 Lynx turnovers Tuesday and outscored the Lynx 20-8 on fast breaks.
Players to watch: Lynx F/G Seimone Augustus has gone 13-for-20 from the field and scored 34 points in the past two games. On Tuesday, Augustus scored 16 points, 11 in the second half. Lynx C Sylvia Fowles is tied for fourth in the league in scoring (21.5 ppg) and is third in rebounding (10.8 rpg). Sun G Jasmine Thomas had a season-high 18 points (going 5-for-7 from three-point range) against the Lynx. Thomas, in her seventh season, averaged a career-high 11.7 points per game last season. Sun F Morgan Tuck, in her second season, had 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds against the Lynx.
Numbers: The Lynx have won 21 consecutive games in the month of May dating to 2012.
