Wild update: After going 1-0-1 on the road, the Wild are back home for two games. Since Nov. 27, the Wild are 15-4-1 in St. Paul. LW Brandon Duhaime has three goals in his last four games. LW Kirill Kaprizov and D Jared Spurgeon are tied for the eighth-most goals in franchise history at 108; they're two behind seventh-place Nino Niederreiter (110). The Wild returned LW Adam Beckman to Iowa in the American Hockey League.
Blue Jackets update: Columbus was in action on Saturday, upending Edmonton 6-5 despite blowing a four-goal lead. C Jack Roslovic scored twice, including the game-winning goal, and had two assists. That game improved the Blue Jackets to 3-1-1 over their last five. LW Johnny Gaudreau continues to lead the team in scoring with 54 points. Columbus is 6-17-3 away from home.
The general manager of the U.S. team in the 4 Nations Face-Off hockey tournament said he would welcome a visit from President Donald Trump to the championship game between the United States and Canada on Thursday night.
