Lynx update: After securing the league's top seed for a third consecutive year, the Lynx will start their quest for a second title. F Maya Moore, runner-up in the MVP voting, was third in the league in scoring (18.5) and G Seimone Augustus (16.3) was ninth. F Rebekkah Brunson was fifth in rebounding (8.9) and Lindsay Whalen third in assists (5.8). The Lynx swept the four-game season series with Seattle, winning each game by 13 or more points.

Storm update: Seattle, which is in the playoffs for the 10th season in a row, is led by F Tina Thompson. The first player drafted by the WNBA, Thompson will retire after Seattle's season ends. She leads the Storm in scoring (14.1) and rebounding (5.8). F Alysha Clark (ankle) and G Temeka Johnson (heel) are questionable for the series opener.
