Gameday preview: Wolves at Charlotte

Preview: The Hornets beat Indiana 80-71 in overtime Saturday without G Kemba Walker and C Al Jefferson, who sat out injured while Gerald Henderson scored 20 points. … Jefferson has been out for the past seven games because of a groin injury, and the Hornets went 6-1. The Hornets held opponents under 100 points in all seven games. … After so many expectations that followed a playoff appearance last spring, the Hornets still are just 16-25. …Don't forget: Monday is a Martin Luther King Day matinée, and there is no local TV broadcast.

Players to watch: Walker is questionable with an inflamed knee. He has scored 28 or more points in his past six games played. … Jefferson missed the past nine games because of a groin strain but averaged 17 points and nine rebounds in the previous 21 games.

Injuries: Wolves G Kevin Martin (wrist) is questionable, C Nikola Pekovic (ankle/foot) doubtful and G Ricky Rubio (ankle) and F Shabazz Muhammad (oblique) out. Walker and Jefferson are questionable, G Jannero Pargo (back) is out.
