The Gophers landed a commitment Sunday from Winston DeLattiboudere, a defensive end from Howard High School in Ellicott City, Maryland.

DeLattiboudere was named the Baltimore Sun's All-Metro Defensive Player of the Year last fall after making 101 tackles, including 42 for a loss. He has been an under-the-radar recruit, though, with no star ranking from either Rivals.com or 247Sports.com.

The Gophers now have 24 commitments heading into national signing day on Wednesday.

The Gophers played with more urgency, but it wasn’t enough to keep them from another conference sweep, and they lost LJ Mooney to injury in the process.
