Gophers spring game

When, where: 6 p.m. Thursday, TCF Bank Stadium.

Admission: Free.

TV: BTN2Go live stream; tape delay at 8 p.m. on BTN.

Format: Team Maroon (coached by offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca with linebacker Thomas Barber as captain) vs. Team Gold (coached by defensive coordinator Robb Smith with running back Rodney Smith as captain). The teams held a draft to fill their rosters.

Oars encouraged: Fans are encouraged to bring decorated oars and drop them off at Gate A when they enter the stadium. Oars collected last year were displayed in the tunnel that the team walks down before games.

It Ends Here: The Gophers will wear It Ends Here shirts to the game and decals on their helmets, supporting the Minnesota Student Association's campaign to end sexual misconduct on campus.

Key times

3 p.m.: Parking lots open for spring game attendees. Charge is $4 for Lot 37 and the Maroon, Gold and Victory lots; $6 for Gopher lot. No tailgating will be allowed.

4-6 p.m.: Pregame fan fest near Gate A.

5 p.m.: Gate A opens for fan entry, and fans will be seated on the north side of the stadium.
