Graphic: No moose hunting season this year

The number of moose in Minnesota according to this year's count is at 3,450, down about 20 percent from the previous year's estimate of 4,350, but above the tally of 2,760 in 2013, the year the DNR halted hunting. Since 2006, the number of moose in Minnesota is down roughly 60 percent.
