Vikings rookie wide receiver Percy Harvin missed a second consecutive day of practice Thursday because of a recurrence of migraine headaches that have plagued him since he was a kid.

Coach Brad Childress said Harvin saw a doctor on Thursday and then went home. Harvin dealt with migraines before the Vikings' victory over San Francisco in Week 3, missing two days of practice that week. He returned, however, and caught four passes for 51 yards and returned a kickoff 101 yards for a touchdown.

Harvin, who missed the NFL's rookie symposium last June because of an illness, was added to the Vikings' injury report the day before they played the Chicago Bears on Nov. 29 because of another illness. Harvin has not missed a game this season.

Also missing practiced again Thursday was safety Tyrell Johnson, who suffered a concussion Sunday. It wouldn't be surprising if Johnson sits out Sunday and rookie Jamarca Sanford starts at safety.

Meanwhile, running back Adrian Peterson (foot, ankle) and right tackle Phil Loadholt (shoulder) were limited in practice after sitting out Wednesday.

Limited for a second consecutive day were cornerbacks Cedric Griffin (neck), Antoine Winfield (foot) and Karl Paymah (knee); left guard Steve Hutchinson (shoulder); right guard Anthony Herrera (concussion); left tackle Bryant McKinnie (ankle); tight end Visanthe Shiancoe (ribs); nose tackle Pat Williams (foot); and wide receiver Bernard Berrian (hamstring).

For the Bengals, starting free safety Chris Crocker (ankle) and backup strong safety Kyries Hebert (knee) did not participate in practice for the second day in a row. Backup cornerback Morgan Trent (knee) was limited and backup center Jonathan Luigs (back) was able to take part in all of practice.

Defensive tackle Domata Peko (knee) and running back Bernard Scott (foot) already have been declared out for this game.
