Darius Rucker at Mystic

Friday: In 2019, Rucker reunited with the rock band that made his molasses voice famous, Hootie & the Blowfish. But now he's back to being a country singer. Last summer he dropped the banjo-spiked hit "Beers and Sunshine." Now he's followed with the piano-and-pedal steel love ballad "My Masterpiece," both from his forthcoming eighth solo album. When Rucker kicks off his summer tour in Minnesota, expect to hear his country favorites plus a taste of Hootie. (8 p.m. Fri., Mystic Lake Casino Amphitheater, Prior Lake, $59 and up, ticketmaster.com)
