A complaint filed yesterday by the Aitkin County Attorney's Office charges the former owner of Carlsona Beach Supper Club with several felonies related to the fire and the operation of the supper club under the name of R & J Enterprises.



The fire at Carlsona Beach Supper Club was reported to the Aitkin County Sheriff's Office at around 12:41 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010. The subsequent investigation was conducted by the Aitkin County Sheriff's Office, the Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. They were also assisted by the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.

Ronald R. Wise, 47, of Brainerd has been charged with and a warrant was issued for Arson in the First Degree, four counts of Felony Fraud in Obtaining Credit and four counts of Felony Taxes – Filing False Return.

Wise was arrested earlier today by the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office at his residence. He is currently in custody at the Aitkin County Jail. (from the Mille Lacs Messenger website)
