Major League Baseball attracts more interest from older age groups. A list of people by age who said they were "very" or "somewhat" interested in a given sport, according to Nielsen Scarborough research.

MLB

18-20: 23 percent

21-34: 25 percent

35-49: 28 percent

50-69: 32 percent

NFL

18-20: 37 percent

21-34: 41 percent

35-49: 44 percent

50-69: 46 percent

NBA

18-20: 21 percent

21-34: 22 percent

35-49: 21 percent

50-69: 18 percent

NHL

18-20: 15 percent

21-34: 15 percent

35-49: 14 percent

50-69: 13 percent
