It's Star Wars Day. Because it's the Fourth. Of May. As in "May the Force be with you," spoken by someone with a mouth full of Doritos. Seriously. Says wikipedia:

Who's in charge of official Star Wars holidays? Wiki then states the grindingly obvious in its own deadpan, humorless way:

There's a surprise. I'm sure that petition comes across the Pope's desk every year, but aides whisk it away.

Celebrate however you like. Me, I'm going to imitate Han Solo, and shout "Then I'll see you in hell!" when someone makes a perfectly reasonable expression of concern. If you're at a loss for how to celebrate, head over to jibjab.com and put yourself in Star Wars. Besides wearing your Ewok Underoos, that is. And remember: Han shot first.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
