Jerry Seinfeld, one of the most beloved and successful comics of his generation, will return to the Twin Cities after more than a two-year gap.

He’s scheduled to do two shows at the Orpheum Theatre on March 21 — but don’t be surprised if he tacks on more. During his last visit to the Twin Cities in the fall of 2023, he did four performances.

There was a time when Seinfeld’s tours brought him to Minnesota at least every other year. But his 2023 appearance was his first since 2017.

Since his last visit, the comedian has been busy directing and starring in “Unfrosted,” a movie about the fictional origins of Pop-Tarts, and popping up in the series finale of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

Tickets for the 5 and 8 p.m. shows on March 21 go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through hennepinarts.org.
