Join NHL beat writer Michael Russo and former Wild winger Mark Parrish at noon today for a round of conversation and predictions before the Minnesota Wild season opener in Colorado on Thursday.

Russo and Parrish (also a star at Bloomington Jefferson High and St. Cloud State) will be joined by sports columnist Chip Scoggins and digital sports editor Michael Rand. They'll talk about the Wild, dissect the team and its chances, take questions and tell stories. Russo has covered Parrish twice, both in Florida and Minnesota, so there's sure to be plenty of laughs.

Also, enjoy a free snack from Drew's Caramel Corn (while supplies last), try your hand at bubble hockey and enter to win free tickets to the Minnesota Wild home opener on October 10.

Join the live event: Today, Oct. 6. 11:45 a.m. for a bubble hockey tournament starring Russo, Parrish, Scoggins and Rand. Discussion begins at noon.

Where: #StribHQ, 650 3rd Av. S., Mpls. In the public atrium connecting the Star Tribune Building and Capella Tower.

Price: Free.
