The Star Tribune is hosting a museum-style event May 28 featuring sights and sounds from the Minnesota Orchestra's trip to Cuba.
At the happy hour event, you can: Order a mojito or a glass of wine from the cash bar. Enjoy complimentary Cuba-inspired appetizers. Peruse a gallery of large-format prints. Listen to a concert of live Cuban music by Minnesota Orchestra principal flute player Adam Kuenzel and classical guitarist Magdalena Loza Flores. Listen to an audio guide featuring Star Tribune arts reporter Graydon Royce and staff photographer Leila Navidi discussing their trip and the selected images.
When: 4:30-6 p.m. Thur., May 28 Where: The Star Tribune's new headquarters — aka #StribHQ — 650 3rd Av. S, Mpls. The gallery will be located in the street-level lobby off 3rd Av. The exhibit will be on view May 28-June 5 and is open to the public.Price: Free
