"As residents of Minneapolis, the Midtown Eco Energy team is committed to bringing locally-based, innovative biomass technology to Minneapolis. We are committed to doing our part to control global warming through a balanced energy choice.

"Our company remains in negotiations with several parties on a number of important issues regarding its efforts to bring locally-based renewable energy to Minneapolis. While we are in the midst of the negotiation process, Midtown Eco Energy is not offering public comment on those activities at this time.

"Midtown is also committed to working with the neighborhoods in the area, and continues to reach out to leaders. We are happy to share the facts about the project with residents, and are working hard to help Minneapolis achieve its vision for renewable energy leadership and jobs based in the green economy."
