Forecasted stormy weather and heavy rain is dampening July 4th celebrations in many Minnesota cities.
Cities cancel fireworks, citing weather; Minneapolis, others wait to decide

Some cities have postponed or canceled celebrations altogether. Here are the celebrations affected so far:
Minneapolis: The city will decide by 6 p.m. Thursday whether all or part of its Red, White and Boom! activities and fireworks display will take place. Watch the parks and rec’s Facebook page for updates.

Republicans across the country benefited from favorable tailwinds as President-elect Donald Trump resoundingly defeated Democrat Kamala Harris. But that wasn’t the whole story in Minnesota.
