Like other summer music festivals, the 11th annual Lakefront Music Fest in Prior Lake has been postponed until July 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The event was scheduled to feature Styx and Lady Antebellum on July 10-11. Traditionally, the fest features country music one night and rock the other.

Prior Lake Rotary Club produces Lakefront and donates the proceeds to area charities including YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities and organizations affiliated with Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools.

Lakefront organizers say that ticketholders for this year will be contacted within 10 days about refunds or using their tickets for 2021's Lakefront fest, for which the lineup will be announced later.
