Lakers update: Two seasons removed from the NBA title, L.A. is 29-38 and fighting for a play-in berth. It is 4-12 in its past 16 games and has lost 10 consecutive road games. ... LeBron James, averaging 29.7 points per game, is the first NBA player to have 10,000 assists, 10,000 rebounds and 30,000 points in his career. He is on the injury list because of knee soreness. ... C Anthony Davis (foot) has been sidelined for the past month.

Wolves update: At 40-29, the Wolves have reached 40 wins for the 11th time in team history. Their .571 win percentage is seventh best. ... F Jaden McDaniels (left ankle sprain) is out. G Patrick Beverley (ear), G Jordan McLaughlin (groin), C Naz Reid (back) and F Jarred Vanderbilt (quad) are questionable. ... In Monday's victory in San Antonio, C Karl-Anthony Towns became the sixth player in NBA history to have 60 points and at least 15 rebounds in a game. Wilt Chamberlain did it 20 times.
