Late-Week Fire Danger Threat

The combination of hot temperatures, low relative humidities and breezyconditions will lead to very high fire danger Thursday and Friday across theSouthwest and western half of the southern Plains.A very dry air mass will provide widespread sunshine and above-normaltemperatures Thursday and Friday afternoon. Gusty winds in the wake of a stormsystem over drought-stricken areas of New Mexico and western Texas will createdangerous fire weather conditions.
