I was sorry to hear about the college students injured in a crash involving an 85-year-old woman going the wrong way on the freeway ("Gustavus students in wreck that killed wrong-way driver," April 4). It's wrong, however, for people to simply criticize senior drivers -- I've seen teens and middle-aged folks making the same mistake. It seems there are frequent stories about wrong-way drivers, and it's clear the problem spans the generations. You can't just blame elderly drivers for everything. If that were accurate, why does auto insurance go sky-high when there are teen drivers in the household?

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
