Lil Wayne says he's sorry for not showing up on Friday night at Target Center. So his promoter is putting his money where Weezy's mouth is: There will be full refunds but no rescheduled show.
Here's how the refund process works:
For tickets purchased via credit card at Target Center's box office, online or by phone from AXS, email guestservices@axs.com with your order number to receive a refund to the original credit card. It takes 7 to 10 days to process. For more info, call 888-9-AXS-TIX.
For tickets purchased with cash, you must go to Target Center's box office, which is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Beginning April 17, Target Center will have shorter box office hours due to the building's renovation. For more info, go to www.targetcenter.com.
Groupon ticket refunds will be processed directly by Groupon to the original credit card used. For more info, go support@groupon.com or call 888-375-5777.
As you'll recall, opening acts Rick Ross, Young Jeezy and Prof had already performed on Friday when it was announced at 10:30 p.m. that Lil' Wayne's airplane was experiencing mechanical trouble and he would not appear.
So, in the end, concertgoers got a free show by Ross, Jeezy and Prof.
