Seen at: The "Flower After Hours" event at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

What are you wearing? J.W. Hulme Co. bag, Frye boots, Tabitha jacket, French Connection top, BCBG skirt, J. Crew scarf, Banana Republic bangle.

Describe your style: I lean toward smart, simple, modern pieces in delicious fabrics. I favor flattering over trendy, subtle asymmetry, confident incongruity, discreet cheekiness.

How does your work influence your style? I'm a florist, so French Kindergarten Teacher is the look to which I aspire at work. Dressing in layers is essential when transitioning from hours in the floral cooler to breaking a sweat carrying huge arrangements.

Do you say yea or nay to mixing prints? Yea! I am the queen of mixing prints. Sometimes I look down and am wearing four different striped pieces. It's a lot like our floral design aesthetic: How many elements can we combine to achieve an intricate simplicity?

Describe your favorite spring color palette: I'm really into cobalt and French blues right now, mixed with blindingly bright neon coral and reds. But ask me a different day, and I'll say shades of white and cement.
