Locally-made candy for stocking stuffers

You've probably never heard of local candy maker and wholesaler Route 29. Caramel is their specialty and it's on sale now.

Local candy maker Route 29 (New Hope, 612-781-2106) decided to send out a "stocking stuffer sale" announcement rather than a "Happy holidays" letter. Through Friday, Dec.19, a variety of its candies are on sale including gingerbread caramel dipped in milk chocolate or peppermint caramel dipped in dark chocolate ($1.50 each, regularly $2), mini snappers, peanut butter sticks or snowball grab n go boxes ($2.50 each, regularly $3), spiked chocolate caramels or peppermint bark Uptown snackers ($2.50 each, regularly $3) and vanilla caramels with mixed nuts or blue raspberry licoriece snowmen holiday mini-tubs ($2 each, regularly $5 to $6), all on sale online by phone or online.

Don't wait. A lot of this will be sold out before Saturday.
