Lynx update: Defense has been the key for Minnesota (11-3) lately. The Lynx held Indiana and Tulsa to under 40 percent shooting in their two most recent victories. … Monica Wright has filled in nicely for Seimone Augustus (sprained ankle), but there is a chance Augustus will return. She participated fully in Thursday's practice.
Silver Stars update: San Antonio was a playoff team at 21-13 a season ago, but the Silver Stars have fallen on hard times (4-11), languishing in fifth place in the Western Conference. The Lynx defeated San Antonio 87-72 at Target Center on June 11. Jia Perkins leads the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game, while Danielle Robinson is averaging 11.3 points and 7.1 assists.
