Lynx at a glance: The Lynx, coming off a cold-shooting performance in a loss in Washington on Saturday, will try to avoid a consecutive loss. The team has had only two regular-season losing streaks since the start of the 2011 season — a two-game streak in late June 2011 and a three-game streak in July last season. After showing such an efficient offense in the team's first two games, the Lynx struggled in Washington, shooting 38.5 percent from the field and going only 13-for-21 on free throws. The Lynx also committed a season-high 13 turnovers and allowed the Mystics to shoot 49.2 percent. The Lynx lead the league in scoring (89.67).

Silver Stars at a glance: The Stars have split four games. After a season-opening loss to Indiana, the Stars had impressive back-to-back victories against Los Angeles and Chicago before losing by two points in Chicago in a rematch between the two teams Sunday. A balanced scoring attack has four players averaging in double figures, led by G Jia Perkins (13.5), F/C Danielle Adams (11.8) and G Danielle Robinson (11.3). The Stars are fourth in the league, allowing 74.5 points per game.
