Winless San Antonio faces league-leading Lynx

Preview: This is a matchup of best vs. worst. The 10-1 Lynx have a two-game lead over Los Angeles in the Western Conference. The 0-13 Stars are the only WNBA team without a win. Six of those losses have come by 10 or more points. The Lynx rebounded from their first loss of the season — a defensively challenged 98-93 home loss to Connecticut June 17 — with a strong effort in Friday's victory over Washington. The Lynx have won 25 of their past 28 games vs. the Stars and have won their past 14 vs. San Antonio at home.

Players to watch: Maya Moore scored 22 points Friday, her third straight game of 20-plus points. And while she was 7-for-20 shooting, she got to the free throw line seven times, had 11 rebounds and seven assists, leading the Lynx in all three categories. C Sylvia Fowles had 21 points, a season-high 15 rebounds and five blocks, her second game this season with 20-plus points, 10-plus boards and five-plus blocks. Stars G Kayla McBride had 20 points in San Antonio's loss to Dallas on Friday. She's averaging 15.3 points for the season and had 18 vs. Minnesota on May 28. F Monique Currie is second on the team in scoring (12.5).

Numbers: The Lynx have averaged 44 points in the paint in five June games, up from 35 in May, and lead the WNBA with 39.1 per game. The Lynx also lead the league in defensive rating (94.6) and scoring defense (75.4). The Stars are last in the league in scoring (72.4) and offensive rating (91.8) and second-to-last in shooting (41.4 percent).

Injuries: Neither team reports any injuries.
