Rob Morris

Rob Morris, program director at rock station KDWB and news talk 1130, is leaving at the end of the year, according to allaccess.com, which monitors the radio community.

Morris has served as program director at KDWB for more than 17 years. He added the talk station to his duties five years ago. According to allaccess.com, Morris couldn't reach a contract agreement with Clear Channel.

We'll update if and when we hear back from Morris.

UPDATE: Just heard from Morris. He confirmed the news, reiterating that he's "very grateful" for the 17 years at KDWB and the 5 years at the talk station. "It's a sad day, at least for me," he said. "I'm feeling pretty melancholy about the time I spent here, but I'm looking forward to the new chapter."
