The man found fatally shot this week in a vehicle that crashed in north Minneapolis was identified Friday.

He was Quasim Jameel Owens, 27, of Minneapolis, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said.
The gunfire occurred about 6:50 p.m. Monday in the 1800 block of N. Bryant Avenue, where police officers found Owens wounded in the driver's seat, police said.
He was taken to HCMC, where he died Wednesday night of a gunshot wound to the head, the medical examiner said.
No arrests have been made in Owens' death, one of 73 homicides in the city so far this year.
