Man found shot numerous times in Richfield

His condition was unknown late Friday afternoon. No one has been arrested.

Richfield police are investigating after a man was found suffering from gunshot wounds in their city.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at E. 901 77th Street just after 2 p.m., according to a news release from the Richfield Police Department. They found the victim unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. According to dispatch audio, he was shot in the chest and side.

The man's condition was unknown Friday afternoon, according to the release.

Witnesses reported seeing a car with two male occupants flee the area, according to the release. Police said they do not believe there is a threat to the public.
