An 18-year-old St. Paul man was critically injured Friday night in a shooting outside the Myth Live nightclub in Maplewood, police said.

The man was shot in the neck about 11 p.m. and taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where he was listed in critical condition, a spokesman for the Maplewood Police Department said.

The shooting occurred during a large fight outside the nightclub, where rappers Lil Baby and Blueface were performing. The spokesman said police don't know how many people were involved in the fight, but estimated 1,800 were attending the concert.

Police aren't sure whether the man was the intended target. Paramedics already on the scene treating a victim of a drug overdose treated the shooting victim before taking him to Regions.

No suspect has been arrested, and police are asking anybody with information to call Maplewood police through the Ramsey County Emergency Communications Center at 651-249-2600.
