Man who jumped onto 35W critical

A man who jumped from an interstate overpass in Bloomington and was hit by two cars was in critical condition at Hennepin County Medical Center Friday afternoon.

The 20-year-old from Brooklyn Center leapt from the 98th Street overpass above Interstate 35W and onto the northbound lanes shortly before 9:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the State Patrol.

No one in either vehicle that hit the man was hurt.
