Mary J. Blige is coming to Xcel Energy Center on March 16

Tickets go on sale this week before the queen of hip-hop soul is inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

She will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame next month. In November, she’ll drop a new album, “Gratitude.” Next year, Mary J. Blige will hit the road, with a visit to Xcel Energy Center on March 16.

The queen of hip-hop soul’s 27-city For My Fans Tour will kick off Jan. 30 in Greensboro, N.C. Ne-Yo and Mario are scheduled as special guests.

Blige previewed her new album, “Gratitude,” with the single “Breathing,” featuring Fabolous. The album, the powerhouse superstar’s 15th studio project, arrives Nov. 15.

The nine-time Grammy winner has scored a string of hits including “I’m Goin’ Down,” “No More Drama” and “Family Affair.” She has appeared in several movies, including 2017′s “Mudbound” and 2021′s Aretha Franklin biopic “Respect,” in which she portrayed Dinah Washington.

Blige’s last local appearance was in 2010 as part of a revival of Lilith Fair at Target Center.

Tickets for the St. Paul concert will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at livenation.com. Prices have not been announced.
