Mid-day talker: What is the least-tainted championship in the past 25 years?

Good times.

So the penalties have been handed down to Saints players for their role in the bounty scandal, the latest reminder of how their Super Bowl title following the 2009 season could be construed as tainted. Between the bounty scandal, the residual effect of Spygate and performance-enhancing drugs, it seems as though you can't swing a cat without hitting a championship that doesn't have some blemish on it. (Note: Swinging a cat is an expression an old friend and roommate used to use. We don't condone cat-swinging. Cats are awesome).

As such, we are in search of the "purest" championship won by any major pro sports team in the past 25 years. Suggestions, as always, are welcome in the comments.

(Before you answer 1987 or 1991 Twins, don't forget Joe Niekro's nail file and Kent Hrbek's wrestling move).
