Midday Masters update

Tiger still has a shot

Augusta, Ga.

Just walked the front nine and a couple of random holes, and as I was doing so, Jordan Spieth played the first two holes in three-over par.

He pushed his drive on the incredibly difficult par-4 first and took a double bogey, then three-putted on the par-5 2nd to make bogey.

And now the leaderboard is wide open. At the moment, Matt Kuchar, Rory McIlroy, Spieth, Henrik Stenson, Charley Hoffman and Canadian Adam Hadwin are all tied for the lead at three-under.

Just watched Dustin Johnson eagle No. 2 to move to 1-under. And now Tiger Woods, at 1-over, is only four off the lead.

The conditions look beautiful, but the pin placements on the front 9 are difficult and the wind is unpredictable - hence some strange scores.

It will be a fascinating day.
