Minneapolis police say missing 8-year-old boy is found, safe

The boy had last been seen about 8 p.m. Wednesday at a play area in the 400 block of N. 7th Street, police said.

Minneapolis police said Thursday that an 8-year-old boy reported missing the night before has been located and is safe.

Jayvion Moore had last been seen about 8 p.m. at a play area near his residence in the 400 block of N. 7th Street, police said in a statement.

In an update about 7:30 a.m., police reported him located and safely reunited with his family.
