Minnehaha Academy stomps Stewartville in hastily arranged national TV game

The nation's top recruit in the Class of 2021, 7-foot center Chet Holmgren paced Minnehaha Academy (8-1) with 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists, four blocked shots and three steals.

Minnehaha Academy's basketball star power was on display again Monday night, including a national audience watching on ESPNU. Class 3A's No. 1 team overwhelmed Class 2A, No. 4 Stewartville, winning 87-63 at Minnehaha Academy. Stewartville (8-2) was a last-minute replacement for a team from Houston, Tenn.

Teammates Mercy Miller (16), Prince Aligbe (14), Isaiah Davis (14) and Hercy Miller (12) were also in double digits. None of the five have committed to a college.

Nolan Stier had a game-high 24 points for Stewartville. Senior Will Tschetter, a 6-9 forward and Michigan recruit, scored 19 points.
