Minnehaha Parkway at Interstate 35W in Minneapolis will close starting Sunday evening until June 14 as part of the 35W/Hwy. 62 Crosstown reconstruction project.

The closure is needed to set bridge beams above the parkway.

During the closure, at least one pedestrian or bike path along Minnehaha Creek at 35W will remain open. However, the path may be intermittently closed to safely conduct work.

Motorists should follow the posted detour route. Motorists may cross I-35W at 38th Street, 42nd Street, Diamond Lake Road and 60th Street.
