The Minnesota Vikings traded their first-round pick but have eight picks in the later rounds for the 2017 NFL Draft, April 27-29 in Philadelphia.
There is still a chance that the Vikings will find a way to trade back into the first round. General Manager Rick Spielman has discussed fine-tuning his strategy around making trades for picks, and studying the value of such trades. But the Vikings have already met some of their needs in free agency, including at running back, offensive tackle and quarterback.
They are still likely to target a guard, receiver and cornerback, and build depth at other key positions.
