Wild update: This is the start of a four-game trip for the Wild that will finish in Western Canada. So far, the Wild are 5-3-1 on the road. They split the season series with the Stars last season, going 2-2. LW Kirill Kaprizov had a team-high nine points vs. Dallas in 2021-22. His linemate RW Mats Zuccarello racked up seven points.

Stars update: Dallas has won two in a row and sits atop the Central Division with 32 points. The Stars haven't played since Thursday, when they routed the Ducks 5-0. LW Jason Robertson had a hat trick that game, increasing his goal total to a whopping 22. He became the NHL's first 20-goal scorer this season, and Robertson is on a career-best 17-game point streak. This run is three games shy of the franchise record set by the North Stars' Brian Bellows in 1985-86.
