Music & Movies is back: Here's the summer lineup

Walker Art Center and the Current present bands and movies in Loring Park the first four Mondays in August.

After pulling out of the popular, free Summer Music & Movies in the Park last summer, Walker Art Center is presenting the series again, starting Monday, August 1in Minneapolis' Loring Park. (The Aug. 22 show will take place not at Loring, but at the field alongside the Walker.)

Each show will feature a local band, a Current radio DJ and a movie. Music commences at 7 p.m. and movies at about 8:30 p.m

Here's the lineup:

Monday, August 1 -- Band: Haley Bonar -- Movie: "Rear Window"

Monday, August 8 -- Band: No Bird Sing -- Movie: "1000 Eyes of Dr. Mabuse"

Monday, August 15 -- Band: Buffalo Moon -- Movie: "Blow-Up"

Monday, August 22 -- Band: Dark Dark Dark and the Modern Times Spychestra -- Movie: "Spies"
