Fla. Gulf Coast (20-13) vs. Fairleigh Dickinson (18-14), 5:40 p.m.
• The winner gets the 16th seed in the East Regional and plays North Carolina on Thursday in Raleigh, N.C. Florida Gulf Coast is in the tournament for the first time since 2013, when the Fort Myers school became the first No. 15 seed to advance to the Sweet 16. Fairleigh Dickinson, in New Jersey, last made it to the Big Dance in 2005 and made it this far after going 8-21 a season ago.
Vanderbilt (19-13) vs. Wichita State (24-8), 8:10 p.m.
• The winner gets the 11th seed in the South Regional and plays Arizona on Thursday in Providence, R.I. This is a matchup of two of the nation's top defenses. Vanderbilt has a huge front line led by 7-0 Josh Henderson and 7-1 Luke Kornet. Wichita State relies on its guards to get steals, with senior guards Fred VanVleet and Ron Baker making the Missouri Valley's all-defensive team.
