NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will be in town on Sunday to visit with Vikings ownership for the first time in three years.

Owners Zygi and Mark Wilf and team executives will start the day by taking Goodell by the team's proposed practice facility site in Eagan. Then they'll move to the U.S. Bank Stadium preview center across the street from where the new stadium is being built downtown.

After a brief Q&A with invited season-ticket holders and a session with the media, Goodell will take a tour of the stadium. He'll then huddle with Vikings ownership and executives for an update on the state of the Vikings before attending the Vikings-Packers game at TCF Bank Stadium at 3:25 p.m.

Goodell is scheduled to watch the first half in the stands with fans.

The last time Goodell was in town was in April of 2012, a critical moment in the political process that led to the passing of the stadium bill.
