Wow, this might be the first high-profile bar/restaurant of the year to stick to its announced opening date. The Pourhouse will open its Prohibition-themed doors at 3 p.m. Friday. The crew behind this 12,000-square-foot spot (formerly Spin) is headed up by Deepak Nath (the former Envy owner), plus Jay Ettinger and the Maple Tavern's Brent Frederick and Jacob Toledo. They're hoping Pourhouse will be many things to many people. It'll be a restaurant by day, serving American bar food with naughty little twists -- such as the Sprewell "Feed My Family" Platter, the Petters Ponzi meatballs and the Hecker BBQ burger. While the look of the place is old-school speakeasy (complete with secret doorways and moonshine barrels) the walls are plastered with flat-screen TVs for sports fans. Did I mention it's also a music venue? Yep, the Ty Reynolds Band will christen the new stage later on Friday night. Check back here next Friday for a full report.

Bradstreet: More than cocktails?
One of the Twin Cities' premier cocktail lounges is mixing things up. Bradstreet Craftshouse, located inside the Graves 601, will debut a new patio in the coming weeks. The small outdoor oasis will be located between the Graves entrance and the defunct Hard Rock Cafe, with room for 25 to 30 seats. Inside, the bar recently added a half-dozen tap beers. The draft lines have a Minnesota craft-beer focus (Surly, Rush River, Brau Bros., etc.) and will rotate often. Does this mean Bradstreet is pulling back on its cocktail focus? Hardly. The bar made some big hires in recent months with the addition of bartenders Chad Larson (Barrio Lowertown) and Shawn Jones (Amore Victoria). They join Bradstreet vet Jourdan Gomez in creating a little all-star team of cocktail makers.

The Dutch are coming
Dance music fans have a long weekend in front of them. The planet's two biggest Dutch DJs not named Tiësto are coming to Epic. On Friday, trance superstar Armin Van Buuren plays the downtown club (8 p.m., $35). The Dutchman is hot off a string of worldwide dates that celebrated the 550th episode of his "A State of Trance" radio show. Not to be outdone, his countryman Afrojack will play Epic on Monday (8 p.m., $35). Like David Guetta, the electro-house producer's sound has infiltrated the pop charts with songs like Pitbull's smash, "Give Me Everything." No word if his reported girlfriend, Paris Hilton, will be in attendance.
