No, I'm not talking about pale vampires and shirtless werewolves. The Twin Cities' longest-running monthly lesbian night, Twilight, will call it quits after a 10-year run. That means there are two more dance parties left -- this Friday and Nov. 11. Known as a DJ night dedicated to queer women, Twilight usually packs the house at the Kitty Cat Klub. There are few events like this in the club scene, so check it out before it's gone.

Jo Koy at Pantages Chelsea Handler's buddy, Jo Koy, brings his stand-up to the Pantages Theatre on Saturday. The comedian, who appears regularly on E!'s "Chelsea Lately," has an effortless delivery onstage, whether he's talking about his Filipino mom, masturbation or Michael Jackson.

Date the 'elite'

It's not exactly "Millionaire Matchmaker," but maybe this is Minnesota's next best thing. Tiger Sushi 2 in Minneapolis is hosting a "Fall Singles Soiree" for men and women of a certain age (40-65). The mixer is co-hosted by IJL Elite (that "It's Just Lunch Elite), a matchmaking firm that represents affluent men and women looking for love. The cocktail party will double as a search for fresh faces to add to IJL Elite's roster of eligible singles (to match with their "elites").

  • Tiger Sushi 2, 2841 Lyndale Av. S., Mpls
